Mahindra Quanto facelift to be called NuvoSport; launching on April 6

New Delhi: Homegrown vehicle manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra has christened the facelift version of its Quanto SUV as  NuvoSport.

The  facelift Quanto a.k.a NuvoSport will be launched in the country on April 6.

Launched first in October 2012, the Quanto, a sub-four metre car, was one of the smallest SUVs in the country.

Quanto is powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine, churning out a peak power of 100 bhp with a maximum torque of 240 Nm.

The company says that the NuvoSport is being built on Mahindra’s new generation platform.

The NuvoSport has been designed and developed in-house by the Mahindra design team, while the research and development of the vehicle has been carried out at the world class Mahindra Research Valley.
