Mercedes-Benz GLC launched in India at starting price of Rs 50.7 Lakh

New Delhi: Luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz launched the new GLC ‘Edition 1’ in New Delhi on Thursday.

The GLC has been launched in both diesel (GLC 220 d) and petrol (GLC 300) variants.

The GLC 220 d ‘Edition 1’ is priced at Rs 50.70 lakh, and the GLC 300 ‘Edition 1’ at Rs 50.90 lakhs (both prices ex-showroom Pune)

The GLC 220 d - diesel engine produces 170 hp power and 400 Nm of peak torque while the GLC 300 - petrol engine churns 245 hp power and 370 Nm of peak torque. Both engines are motorized by the 9G-TRONIC transmission

The GLC features permanent 4MATIC all-wheel drive and a DYNAMIC SELECT Controller with 5 driving modes: Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sport +, Individual

The GLC has the best-in-class coefficient drag figure of 0.31 and total aerodynamic drag of 0.794

Cargo bars are present behind the rear seat backrest to enlarge the luggage compartment by 30 litres and easy accessibility is provided by the EASY-PACK-tailgate.
