Hurriyat condemns spurt in violence in J&K
Srinagar, July 23: Condemning the recent spurt in violence in Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat Conference today asked India and Pakistan to initiate a meaningful and result-oriented dialogue process to work out a solution to the Kashmir issue on a priority basis.
Srinagar, July 23: Condemning the recent spurt in violence in Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat Conference today asked India and Pakistan to initiate a meaningful and result-oriented dialogue process to work out a solution to the Kashmir issue on a priority basis.
"Hurriyat condemns the nefarious acts of the killing of unarmed and innocent persons, including yatris and want to say forcefully that the solution to the Kashmir issue should be worked out on priority keeping in mind the sacredness of the human blood", a statement issued by Hurriyat Conference said
here.
"The gravity of the situation demands that India, Pakistan and people of Kashmir start a dialogue and move forward to achieve the goal of peace and security practically", the statement said.
"As long as the Kashmir issue continued to remain unresolved, no concrete or result-oriented method could be adopted to protect human lives", it added.
