New Delhi: Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar is so much in love with sun, sand and the beaches of Goa that he is reportedly planning to own a shack there.
A known name in the Hindi film industry after ‘Tere Bin Laden’ and ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, the actor is currently gearing up for his next release, David Dhawan`s comic caper ‘Chashme Baddoor’, a remake of Sai Paranjpye-directed 1981 film of the same name.
He is said to have zeroed in on a shack in Goa, where he shot for ‘Chashme Baddoor’.
"It was the shooting of `Chashme Baddoor`, which took Ali to Goa and he fell in love with the place and their culture. Ali had never been to Goa and the amount of time he spent over there was like a mini-vacation for him as well as the entire cast, though it is too early to disclose any details, as talks are still on (for the shack)," said a source.
Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, ‘Chashme Baddoor’ also features Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma and southern actress Taapsee Pannu. The film hits screens April 5.
