Johannesburg: Charlie Sheen has said that now he is free from the drug and alcohol addiction, which for years had threatened to kill him.
The 47-year-old actor told German magazine InstyleMen that his clean living lifestyle had made him more energetic and he is eager to work more now, Channel 24 reported.
The actor, who was fired from the comedy series `Two and a Half Men` in 2011 because of his drug-fuelled rants at the producer, confessed that for years he had lived at the limit and that he could not go on with the drug and alcohol abuse.
Sheen said that he had done the full programme, which consisted of alcohol, drugs, pills and stress, adding that he was not the first person to have survived this lifestyle.
