Christina Aguilera likes to take risk with music

Los Angeles: Singer Christina Aguilera says she has been on top in the music world and now she likes taking risks with her music.

"I`ve already put out a greatest hits record, so I`ve been in this business for a while, and I`m a risk-taker, that`s just who I am at heart," a website has quoted her as saying. "The 31-year-old, who has given some popular hits like "What a girl wants", "Genie in a bottle" and "Come on over baby" feels there might be times when people don`t connect to her music, but this does not bother her. "It`s who I can`t help but be. It`s who I always am in nature, as a person and as an artist," Aguilera said. "With that comes hurdles and certain areas where people aren`t going to get it and understand it artistically. Sometimes it will go over their heads and it will not be as commercially successful," she added. IANS
