Mumbai: Actor Tusshar Kapoor is confident that with Sanjay Gupta`s direction, his next film ‘Shootout At Wadala’ will perform well at the box office.
"I am not at all nervous because the script is good and Sanjay Gupta is a very experienced director. His hold on the medium of the film is very strong and `Shootout At Wadala` is a brand, it`s the first prequel and the public is enjoying action-packed entertaining films," the 35-year-old said here.
"I am sure `Shootout At Wadala` will get a good reception. I hope it does very well at the box-office, but that only time will decide," he added.
Tusshar has been sporting a beard for his role in the film, and he hopes the viewers appreciate it.
"This (the beard) is for `Shootout At Wadala`. It is a 1970s character and he is a gangster, so the look has to be rough. But I am enjoying it, people are liking the look and I hope they accept it on-screen as well," he said.
A Balaji production, ‘Shootout At Wadala’, a prequel to 2007 film ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’, also features John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Sonu Sood and Manor Bajpayee. It is slated to release May 2013.
