When Brangelina met Anoushka Shankar

London: Hollywood’s hot-shot couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie flew down to London to attend the birthday party of Indian sitarist Anoushka Shankar. Brangelina bonded with Anoushka along with some of the distinguished guests who had gathered to call in on her birthday. Expressing her excitement, Anoushka said, “Angelina was very warm. Brad and I spoke about all kinds of things... I told him I had met him once before as an 11-year-old star-struck child. This, he thought, was very funny.” The rooftop party also saw actors Jude Law, Aaron Johnson and filmmaker Sam Taylor-Wood as guests. Having just completed a successful six month-long tour, Anoushka is spending quality time in London with her family. Ask the sitarist, who turned 31 on Saturday, to complete the sentence “ageing is…”, and she says, “wonderful so far!”
