Los Angeles: `Silver Linings Playbook` star Bradley Cooper has become the latest actor to quit Natalie Portman starrer troubled Western `Jane Got a Gun`.
The film has lost one director, Lynne Ramsey, and three leading men. Michael Fassbender and Jude Law were first to exit the project, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Fassbender was the first to quit which was followed by the dramatic exit of Ramsey, who left the project on the eve of production.
Producer Scott Steindorff then engaged Gavin O`Connor as a director at the last minute.
Law also decided to abandon the project shortly after Ramsay`s departure.
Cooper was set to play the leader of a gang that comes to kill the husband (played by Noah Emmerich) of Portman`s character. Joel Edgerton also co-stars.
It is not clear why Cooper left but probably it was due to the delay in production.
