I almost broke my hand punching Carano: Ewan Mcgregor

London: Actor Ewan Mcgregor says he was left red with embarrassment after accidentally punching his `Haywire` co-star Gina Carano in the head.

The 40-year-old `Trainspotting` star, who had to do a figthing sequel with fighter Carano in the action film, said the incident with the mixed martial arts pin-up "almost broke" his hand, Daily Star reported. "The only time I got hurt was when I punched Gina Carano in the head by accident. "I had a series of three punches, but the third one... for one reason or another I connected really hard on the side of her head. She was the one who got straight up and said, `Are you OK?` She was asking me if I was OK! But she was right because I almost broke my friggin` hand! She was absolutely fine," he said. PTI
