Mumbai: Post their first film together- ‘Aisha’, Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor didn’t really share the best of the terms. Apparently, now the two seem to have buried the hatchet. Buzz has it that Sonam and Abhay would be seen together in ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ director Anand L Rai`s ‘Raanjhana’. Abhay has been roped in for a small but significant role in the film, which marks the Bollywood debut of the South star Rajnikanth’s son-in-law and ‘Kolavari Di’ sensation, Dhanush. Reportedly, Abhay had an unpleasant fallout with the actress while working in Sonam’s home production ‘Aisha’. It was alleged that Abhay showed disinterest in the role he played and wasn’t happy with the film, but Sonam was miffed more so after Abhay had made some unflattering remarks about Anil Kapoor. Not someone to take it lightly, Sonam reacted strongly against him. After their initial outburst, both the actors later claimed all was well between them and that they were open to working together again. Talking to a daily, a source said "Abhay and Sonam are very professional actors. They won`t let personal differences come in the way of their professional lives. Both share mutual respect for each other as actors. When the director told Sonam that he was considering Abhay for the role, she was more than happy. Abhay is also comfortable working with Sonam again." Without revealing more, the source informed that both the actors will share screen space in the film. "All I can say is that they will come face to face and their chemistry is amazing in the scene," the source said. The source also added, "Abhay took it up because it`s a beautiful role and he loved it." The film, which will be shot in Benaras is expected to go on floor by the end of May.
