With just a day to go for the official iPhone 6s launch in India, this piece of news will definitely come as a heart breaker for all iPhone fans.


At Rs 62,000 for the 16GB version, the iPhone 6S is the costliest in India with customers paying as much as USD 306 (Rs 19,500 approx) more than those in the United States, as per reports.


Now, considering the fact that Rs 62,000 is equavalent to USD 955, AU$1,310, £620, the iPhone 6s costs just USD 649 in America, AU$1,079 in Australia and £540 in the UK.


This means that Indians will pay $306 (Rs 19,500 aprox) more than Americans, AU$231 more than Australians and £80 more than those in the UK.


And while the 128GB version of the iPhone 6s Plus costs as much as $1,415 (Rs 92,000), AU$1,950, £925 in India, Americans pay only $949, a full $466 (about Rs 29,000 aprox) less than those in India.


In Australia, the 128GB version of the iPhone 6s Plus costs AU$1,490, AU$460 cheaper than that in India, while those in the UK pay £790 -- £135 less.


After three weeks of its official launch in the US, Apple is all set to launch the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in India on October 16. To be available in three version of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, the Indian prices are given below.
