Ozzy Osbourne `gives up on smoke, booze and drugs for honey`

London: Ozzy Osbourne has said that he has ditched his former demons in favour of Manuka honey.

The Black Sabbath frontman said that he had been sober for 44 days after admitting taking drugs and drinking during an 18-month bender which put his marriage with Sharon under severe pressure, the Mirror reported. The 64-year-old rocker told The Rock radio station in Auckland, New Zealand, "I don`t drink, I don`t smoke and I don`t do drugs any more. He said that he just eats Manuka honey and rows with the wife. Earlier in interviews to promote Black Sabbath`s tour, when the musician was asked about the strained relationship with his wife of 31 years - which has seen them living apart in recent weeks - he said, that he was still breathing. After revealing his love for the trendy Manuka honey - which is said to bear curative properties - he went on that for the last 18 months he has been drinking and taking drugs. He said that he was in a very dark place and was an a*****e to the people he loved most, his family. He added that he was not divorcing from Sharon. ANI
