New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi may launch Redmi Note 2 Prime in India next week, as per media reports.


The reports are based on speculations following e-commerce portal Amazon's teaser on the launch of the Redmi Note 2 Prime.


The teaser was out few days after the Xiomi-Qualcomm news about renewing of 3G/4G license agreement.


Xiomi has revived the agreement with Qualcomm in China and it is beleived that the deal may support Xiomi's sale in India without further conflict with Ericsson.


This new smartphone comes with 5.5-inch full HD display. It houses a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front shutter.


The model is powered by 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory along with 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, it has a dual sim support, 4G LTE Connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3060 mAh battery.
