New Delhi: Microsoft has decided to delay the roll out of Windows 10 smartphone update in December. Now the upgrade will take place next year on select devices.

However, there is a catch! Though Microsoft has not given any details on devices that would be suitable to the upgrade, some media reports say that that handsets will need to be equipped with a minimum of 8GB storage.

It could be a bad news for users of Lumia smartphone that comes below 8GB storage.

The Windows 10 Mobile operating system includes a number of functions including Universal Windows Apps and enhancements to the messaging and photo applications.
