London: Singer Adele is to perform at the Grammy awards, but won`t have much rehearsal time as she is still resting following throat surgery.
The `Rolling in the Deep` hitmaker plans to sing live at the US ceremony, where she has been nominated for six accolades, Contactmusic reported.
"She can`t wait to perform but her throat is still very fragile and she doesn`t want to harm her recovery. She should be fine by February 12 but she won`t have much time for rehearsal, which isn`t ideal," a source said.
Adele, 23, who has to rest her vocal cords after surgery for a haemorrhage, is still in Boston where the operation took place, but said to be recovering well.
"Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes. I`m doing really well, on the mend, super-happy, relaxed and very positive with it all. The operation was a success and I`m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors," Adele said.
