Chinese handset maker OnePlus is likely to launch its next smartphone –OnePlus X, in China by the end of this month, as per media reports.
OnePlus X will reportedly sport a 5-inch screen with full HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset.
Other highlight of the phone purportedly includes a fingerprint scanner and a dual rear shutter.
On the price front, the OnePlus X will come at around $249 which loosely translates into Rs 17,000. If the phone is offered in India at the same price, it definitely has an edge over the likes of Xiaomi and Motorola.
There is no report on the launch of the phone outside China as of now, however, it can be said that OnePlus lovers would not have to wait much for the device, considering the company's focus on India.
"India is an important market for us. Outside of China, it is already the third largest market for us, after the US and Europe...," OnePlus India General Manager Vikas Agarwal had said during the OnePlus 2 launch.
