New Delhi: South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung is reportedly working on the smaller version of its popular Galaxy S7 model to take on rival Apple iPhone SE.
Touted as Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini, the phone will reportedly come with a 4.6 inch screen as against iPhone SE which has a screen size of 4-inches.
Notably, Apple has unveiled a new iPhone -- called the iPhone SE -- with a four-inch screen, aiming to reach consumers looking for a handset that is more affordable and compact than its flagship models.
The new device will debut at $399 for US customers without a contract subsidy, in a significant cut from the price of its larger iPhones and is expected to come to India on April 8 at Rs 39,000.
As per media reports, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM and sport a 12MP rear camera.
