New Delhi: Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, after releasing Redmi Note 3 variant at the beginning of the year is now back with a new variant –Xiaomi Redmi 3A, as per media reports.
Xiaomi Redmi 3A has been certified in China by TENAA, the FCC equivalent in China.
Reports are also pouring in that Redmi 3A will have 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 HD resolution and a 4,000 MAH battery.
Driving the phone will be the Snapdragon 435 chipset, which carries an octa-core 1.4GHz CPU and the Adreno 505 GPU. 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage which can be expanded further by using microSD card.
Also a 3MP sensor, while the front camera will sport a 5 MP sensor. Additional features include a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device, a CAT7LTE modem with VOLTE, and an 802.11 ac Wi-Fi networking.
The smartphone is aiming toward those who are looking for a low budget mobile phones with a good battery life.
There are a lot of contradictions on the price level of the phone, however all the popular sites say that it will be priced at around Rs 6,000.
