Xiaomi Mi 5 with Snapdragon 820 processor likely to be launched today

Xiaomi is likely to launch its flagship smartphone Mi 5, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor on Thursday.

Mi 5 variants will come with 2.5D curved glass on the front and rear sides. It will have a metal frame and feature a full-HD display.

The second purported Mi 5 variant will feature full metal body and will sport a display with QHD resolution.

Both variants will have same screen size. Picture is not clear on the RAM and storage of both variants.

In earlier industry reports it was stated that Mi5's one variant will have 32GB inbuilt storage and 3GB RAM, priced around CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 20,300). The other version is expected with 64GB inbuilt storage, and 4GB RAM, priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 23,400).
