Beyonce and Jay-Z ‘in heaven’ over birth of Baby Blue

Washington: Beyonce and Jay-Z, who are basking in the joys of parenthood, have described their feelings on the birth of their daughter as being ‘in heaven’.The couple gave a joint statement confirming the news of their daughter’s birth.

“We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012,” a website quoted them as saying. “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful - we are in heaven,” they said. Their statement also dispelled rumours that Beyonce had undergone a scheduled caesarean operation. “She (Baby Blue) was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs,” they said. “It was the best experience of both of our lives… We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support,” they added.
