Hrithik, Sanjay can’t stop raving about chikni chameli Katrina!

Mumbai: Bollywood bombshell Katrina Kaif rocked the nation with her moves in ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ last year and now she is all set to take on her fans with ‘Chikni Chameli’. Yes, she will now be seen sizzling in a hot item number in forthcoming remake ‘Agneepath’. Apparently, Kat is working really hard and rehearsing day in day out for the anticipated item number which co-stars Sanjay and Hrithik can’t stop raving about her. At the same time Kat is also very excited to have finally found the opportunity to work with Karan Johar. Talking to a daily, she said, “Dharma, Karan and I were to work together on ‘Dostana 2’, but that got deferred. I have always wanted to do something with Karan, so when he told me about the concept of the ‘Chikni Chameli’ item number, I loved it. My reason for doing it is because Karan is such a nice person and has been really good with me. After I heard the song and dance director Ganesh Acharya gave me a dry run, I took it up as a challenge and actually had a lot of fun doing it.” Katrina lost 3 kilos while preparing for the song due to hectic rehearsals, actor Hrithik Roshan agrees. He said, “I was blown away when I saw the rehearsal. Katrina is outstanding. The audience is not going to mind that I`m in the same frame but not dancing!” Actor Sanjay Dutt, who plays the villain in the film, says, “I agree. Kat has brought so much energy to this number that we`re still reeling from the impact! Chikni will get the all ceetees it deserves.” Both Sanjay and Hrithik are extremely impressed with Katrina’s energy and Ganesh’s choreography in the song. They feel that not only will Kat’s item girl avatar will escalate to a new level after this song but Ganesh is the only choreographer in the industry who understands the pulse of masses in India. While speaking to a daily, Sanju said, “He has interpreted this song in a very desi way. Our jaws dropped when Kat did the entire song for us during the rehearsal.” Hrithik rounded it up by adding, “The audience will be spellbound by Katrina as Chikni Chameli. She is the most hardworking co-star and is unbelievable!” We already can’t wait to see this and we are sure so can’t you!
