London: Beyonce Knowles and her rapper hubby Jay-Z want to make the first music video in space.

Record executives are inquiring behind the scenes about filming on one of Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic craft. Flights on the six-seater ships, due to launch later this year, will cost 780,000 pounds each and blast passengers 70,000ft into the Earth’s atmosphere. The video would be shot when passengers experience six minutes of weightlessness. “The label people have been talking about making a music video in space,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. “Beyonce and Jay-Z seemed the obvious option. “Everything is being done to make it happen,” the source added.
