Mumbai: The International Academy of Film and Television in Los Angeles is reportedly set to introduce a chapter in its course on edgy Bollywood films and they have expressed a desire to introduce actor Neil Nitin Mukesh`s movies in it.
Among the other films introduced in the course, the academy has expressed their desire to include Neil`s "Johnny Gaddar", "7 Khoon Maaf" and "David".
They also said to have extended an invitation to the actor to personally introduce the films at the university.
"Neil has always been part of edgy cinema in Bollywood, he has always explored and excelled in grey shades. He had been an AD (assistant director) and understands the aspect of filmmaking not just as an actor but other perspective as well," said a source.
"Amongst younger actors he is the only one who has explored some exciting new age edgy cinema and also has sound knowledge of other aspects of film making thus making him a suitable choice to introduce the Edgy cinema Bollywood chapter at the academy," the source added.
