New Delhi: Just a few days after e-commerce site Flipkart delayed the joining date of 18 IIM students, now software exporter L&T Infotech, a subsidiary of engineering giant Larsen & Toubro, has withdrawn offer letters to around 1500 students.

The students, from various Tamil Nadu colleges of 2015 batch were mostly hired through campus placements.

The company has however said that the offer letters given to the students were withdrawan because of their poor performance in the consequent online test.

These assessment tests were done 18 months after they were offered jobs.

Flipkart had irked (Indian Institute of Management) IIM Ahmedabad students over two matters –one over delayed joining date, other over poor compensation being offered to the students for late joining.
