Beware! After Ola, Uber increases cancellation charges

Bengaluru: Following the decision by taxi provider Ola to double cancellation charges, Uber too has increases the fees.

Ola cancellation fee ranges from Rs 25 to Rs 200; Uber's is between Rs 50 and Rs 150.

The decision was taken on July 12.

The cancellation charges are provided to the drivers when the passenger who has booked the taxi cancels the booking before using the services. It's considered as a compensation to the driver for reaching the picking point.
