Mumbai: Popular family drama "Bade Acche Lagte Hain" has completed two successful years on the small screen. It`s lead actor Ram Kapoor thanked the audiences for the success of the show.
"On this day exactly 2 years ago `Bade Acche Lagte Hain` began... Thank you for all the love and support in our journey," Ram wrote on his Twitter page Thursday.
" `Bade Acche Lagte Hain` would be nothing without each and everyone of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart," he added.
"Bade Acche Lagte Hain" tells the story of a middle-aged business tycoon Ram Kapoor and a middle-class Priya Sharma (played by Sakshi Tanwar) who have an arranged marriage, but later fall in love and their journey from there. The show took a leap after which Priya returns back with a five-year-old daughter Pihu.
Currently Priya is pregnant on the show and the couple are had to deal with misunderstandings after a new character Isha (played by Rakshanda Khan), who is Ram`s college friend, entered their life.
Talking about the show completing two years, Sumona Chakravarti (Natasha Kapoor) said: "Its been a pretty good journey. The recognition I got from the show is just amazing. I have been with the show since the first episode and it`s been a fantastic journey."
Did the cast and crew do anything special?
"We have all wished each other and the channel had sent a cake for us," she told reporters.
