Cheating case: Unitech chairman, 2 others sent to jail for 14 days

A Delhi court on Monday sent Unitech Ltd Chairman Ramesh Chandra, MDs Sanjay & Ajay Chandra & Director Minoti Bahri to 14-day judicial custody in cheating case.

New Delhi, Jan 11:  A Delhi court on Monday sent Unitech Ltd Chairman Ramesh Chandra, MDs Sanjay & Ajay Chandra & Director Minoti Bahri to 14-day judicial custody in alleged cheating cases filed by two investors.

The officials have moved plea before District Judge seeking bail.

The company's Chairman Ramesh Chandra, MDs Sanjay Chandra and Ajay Chandra and Group's Director Minoti Bahri were sent to judicial custody till January 25 by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Gaurav Rao in connection with the two complaints.
