Mumbai: Amidst the din surrounding Kamal Haasan’s most ambitious project ‘Vishwaroopam’, Salman Khan has expressed solidarity to the thespian in his own way.
The film industry has been left aghast by the Madras High Court’s verdict Wednesday to stay release of the film, after initially having lifted the ban on the same following Tamil Nadu government’s decision to challenge the court’s verdict.
Khan took to Twitter to extend support to Haasan. He posted an image to Twitter that read, “Respect art, respect artist, respect the audience. I support Kamal Haasan,” and tweeted, “Censor board has passed it too naaa(sic),” adding, “Sure . 100% gonna see it(sic).”
The Bollywood superstar also said that the audience should decide whether or not a movie is good. He tweeted, “Dekho yaar its a movie n thr r only 2 kinds of movies good or bad. hit n flop N only people who decide r 1s who buy tickets(sic).”
Kamal Haasan has now decided to move the Supreme Court.
