Tom Cruise won’t abandon Suri, says lawyer

London: Tom Cruise’s lawyer has slammed reports that the actor has abandoned his daughter Suri.

“Until this week, Tom was shooting a film on location, but he spoke to Suri every day,” the Mirror quoted Cruise’s attorney Bert Fields as saying. “Tom dearly loves Suri, and the last thing he would ever do is abandon her,” Fields added. The 50-year-old actor picked her daughter up and carried her around like an orange koala bear for hours on end on Tuesday. She was then seen being parcelled up in a blanket, placed in a helicopter and flown out of New York City just before the sunset. At the moment, Holmes has been awarded full custody of the six-year-old girl, but the ‘Mission Impossible’ star has been given visitation rights. ANI
