London: Pop diva Madonna says she is open to having her songs written into a theatre story but has no plans to be directly involved in any potential project.
The 53-year-old is considering allowing a musical featuring her hit songs to hit the stage, reported Daily Star.
"I`d sanction my songs to be made into a musical, I kind of already have. But I wouldn`t do it myself, I don`t think that would interest me," Madonna said.
Previous singers whose songs have made hit stage musicals are Abba for their `Mamma Mia!`, which was made into a film in 2008 and Queen`s tracks have been performed all over the world in stage show `We Will Rock You`.
