Flipkart gears up with better technology ahead of 'Big Billion Sale' starting Oct 13

New Delhi: E-Commerce giant Flipkart is taking no chances from last year's glitches, and wants to be double sure this time. For its upcoming 'Big Billion Day's sale starting next week (October 13), Flipkart has invested heavily in technology and is taking precautions.

Besides, the company has also invested in opening new fulfilment centres to guarantee efficient delivery keeping in mind the massive demand.

The company is adding three warehouses including one at Dadri near New Delhi. Ekart is the company's own logistics arm.

The app-only sale will start on October 13 and end on October 17. The discount available in 'Big Billion Sale' will on more than 70 categories and this will help more than millions of people in having the best at the best.

Technical glitches marred Flipkart’s Big Billon sale in October last year and resulted in many angry shoppers shopping with other e-commerce sites.
