I’ve had botox, says Joan Collins

Washington: Actress Joan Collins has confessed to taking botox injections in the past, but insists that she would not take the wrinkle-smoothing injections again because they “hurt like hell”. Instead, the youthful looking 78-year-old star relies on make-up, fashion and hard work for her glamorous appearance.

“I had it once in my forehead and it hurt like hell. Plus you see all these surgical nightmares these days. I have girlfriends who’ve had Botox and been left with lumps in their faces. And the lips, don’t even get me started!” a website has quoted her as telling a British magazine. The ‘Dynasty’ actress, known for her elegant outfits, insists that she constantly puts in effort to stay looking good. “It’s something that takes time and effort. You can’t be glamorous if you sling on jeans and a T-shirt with a slogan on it. I strive to be elegant in a time of non elegance. I mean where are all the glamorous women these days?” she added. ANI
