New Delhi: Indian Railways has started bookings on Bharta Darshan trains offering seats for only Rs 830 per person per day.
These trains will particularly cater to budget tourists and offer a diverse itinerary.
The package, which can be booked on IRCTC website www.irctctourism.com will include train fair, road transportation, accommodation and sightseeing at tourist locations including all meals.
Each of these trains will have 10 coaches that will be serviced by trained tour managers, on-board hospitality staff and security staff.
The Bharat Darshan tourist trains will travel as per the following four itineraries in the coming months:
The East Darshan begins on May 8, with the train starting from Chandigarh and travelling via Delhi Cantt to cover Jagannath Puri, Gangasagar, Baidyanath Dham, Gaya, Varanasi and Ayodhya.
The 7 Jyotirlinga package will beging on May 23 from Chandigarh via Delhi Cantt will cover Ujjain (Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar), Dwarka (Nageshwar), Veraval (Somnath), Aurangabad (Grishneshwar) and Nasik (Bhimashankar and Triyambakeshwar).
Another 7 Jyotirlinga tour will begin on June 6 from Delhi Safdarjung via Lucknow covering Ujjain (Omkareshwar & Mahakaleshwar), Dwarka (Nageshwar), Veraval (Somnath), Aurangabad (Grishneshwar) and Nasik (Bhimashankar and Triyambakeshwar).
The Dakshin Darshan with Shirdi tour package starts on June 27 from Chandigarh via Delhi Cantt covering Shirdi, Tirupati, Kanchipuram, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Mysore and Bangalore.
