Chris Pine, Amanda Seyfried to star in `Z for Zachariah`

Los Angeles: ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ star Chris Pine is all set to feature in yet another sci fi film ‘Z for Zachariah’ with Amanda Seyfried and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

‘Zachariah’ is a psychological thriller, set after an apocalyptic event, said the Hollywood Reporter. The post-apocalyptic feature will be directed by Craig Zobel. The film is based on the life of a teenage girl (Seyfried) who is the sole survivor until a scientist (Ejiofor) finds her farm, and the two fall in love. Arrival of a young survivor (Pine) complicates the matter. The script of the film is written by Nissar Modi. It is an adaptation of Robert C O` Brien`s classic science fiction novel. The shooting of the film is scheduled to begin in August. PTI
