New Delhi: FMCG major Hindustan Unilever (HUL) on Monday reported an increase of 9.79 percent in standalone net profit at Rs 1,173.90 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 1,069.16 crore in April-June quarter of the preceding fiscal.
HULs net sales were up 3.56 percent to Rs 7,987.74 crore during the quarter under review, the company said in a BSE filing.
Stocks of the company ended at Rs 920.45 on BSE, down 2.04 percent from the previous close.
