Mumbai: After experimenting with adult film ‘Hate Story’ and working on socio-political drama ‘Freedom’, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri will take on a social comedy project.
"Currently I am busy shooting for my film `Freedom`, but soon after this I am going to try my hands with a comedy film. My next film will be a social comedy," Agnihotri said.
"This film is titled `Awwal` and it will be a political satire," he added.
Asked if he has decided the star cast for `Awwal`, he said: "There will be many established stars in this film. It is going to be a huge project. It is a very expensive film, so I have to make the best out of it. I will soon make an announcement on the same."
Agnihotri started his career with the thriller ‘Chocolate’, after which he dealt with a sports-based movie ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal’.
As a filmmaker, he wants to explore various genres.
"I enjoy working on different genres. I don`t want to repeat myself as a director. I want to explore myself with different films, and so I have decided to make a comedy film this time round," he said.
