Rosie O`Donnell adopts baby girl with Michelle Rounds

Los Angeles: Comedienne Rosie O`Donnell and her wife Michelle Rounds have adopted a baby girl named Dakota.

O`Donnell announced the news Wednesday via Instagram, posting a picture of the proud new mothers with their little bundle of joy, reported People magazine. "We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our daughter Dakota - #withloveandthanks - AMEN," she wrote. The baby was born Saturday and weighed in at five pounds, five ounces. The `Bridesmaids` star said in January, shortly after their engagement, that Rounds was trying to get pregnant. The couples were married in early June, right before Rounds underwent the first of several surgeries to remove gastrointestinal desmoid tumors. In August, O`Donnell suffered a heart attack. Rosie already has four kids with ex Kelli Carpenter: Parker, Chelsea, Blake and Vivienne. This is Michelle`s first baby. PTI
