London: Six in 10 adults from Britain adults believe in miracles, while a further 15 percent say they are unsure, a new survey has revealed.
Only one in four of the 1,500 people questioned refuted miracles completely, the Daily Express reported.
The poll, which was conducted on behalf of Premier Christian Radio, said that more than half of the people surveyed knew someone who believed they had witnessed a miracle.
According to the station’s Peter Kerridge, “in a cynical world” the results of the survey were “encouraging”.
