Washington: Justin Bieber believes that admitting when one is wrong is the key to being a good boyfriend.
The 18-year-old ‘Boyfriend’ hitmaker - who has been dating former Disney star Selena Gomez since 2010 - thinks the best way to deal with relationship conflict is by simply saying “sorry”.
“To be a great boyfriend you just have to have patience and ... you’re always wrong when it comes to girls, you’re always wrong, so just say sorry when things are rough,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling E! News.
On being asked if he had written the song especially for his girlfriend - who is currently away in Florida filming ‘Spring Breakers’, he said, “No. The song definitely comes from my heart and whatever that is ... whatever is in there so I mean, I’ll never let you go if you’re my girlfriend, I promise.”
The former YouTube sensation has a hectic year ahead, with a new album and a tour planned.
