Jugnoo clocks maximum rides a day across Delhi

New Delhi: On demand auto-rickshaw aggregator, Jugnoo has traversed over 10,000 rides a day across Delhi NCR region. After launching its services in Gurgaon, Jugnoo easily met challenges in the public transport system in Delhi NCR region followed by Delhi and Noida in September and October respectively.The current number of transaction in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon are over 2000, 3000 and 5000 respectively.When most of the auto-rickshaw aggregators have shut shop, even the likes of UBER, in this segment, Jugnoo is going from strength and increasing the number of subscribers on its app and rides per day exponentially across the country.

It expects the numbers to grow ever further across the three cities as number of first time commuters and rides from existing commuters are growing at a steady pace."We never had any doubts about the auto rickshaw aggregation business and now the numbers have vindicated our belief that we had when we first launched the service in Gurgaon," said Co-founder and CEO Jugnoo, Samar Singla."The first time users have increased exponentially in Delhi NCR region and most of it is through word of mouth and our auto drivers who spread the word as it helps them eventually. The number of rides per auto-rickshaw has also increased ever since we announced the fare slash last month," added Samar.Jugnoo has a network of around 9000 auto-rickshaw drivers across India that is growing at a steady rate across the country. They also have women auto drivers in Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Noida.
