London: Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer has called on Hollywood bosses to shoot more movies in her native Alabama to help boost the economy in the state. The star, who received an Oscar for her critically acclaimed role in ‘The Help’, was the guest of honour in the capital city Montgomery to celebrate her film achievements, reported a leading daily.
"I never would have known that Hollywood could come to you. I thought movies were only made in Hollywood and so I just want to make sure that we can get more movies filmed in this state because not only does it get the creatives to work but there are a lot of crafts people that it puts to work," Spencer said.
