Mumbai: Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Shootout At Wadala’, co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, boasts of an ensemble cast that will leave you asking for more! The first trailer of one of the year’s most awaited films was launched on Friday. The film is based on S Hissain Zaidi`s book ‘Dongri to Dubai - Six Decades of The Mumbai Mafia’ and shows the dark underbelly of the city of Mumbai in the 1970s. ‘Shootout At Wadala’ focuses on the famous encounter of the underworld dons with the then Bombay police. With actors like Anil Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, John Abraham, Sonu Sood, Tusshar Kapoor, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ronit Roy and Kangna Ranaut on board, the film’s trailer does look promising. John Abraham will surprise one and all in a never seen before avatar as Manya Surve. The hunk of an actor, who has till date played action oriented or romantic roles will leave us dumbstruck with his brand new image of a desi gangster. The other actors too have pulled off stellar performances but the one who steals the show is John Abraham. The trailer itself looks packed with breathtaking action sequences.
