Ratan Tata invests in data analytics company Tracxn

New Delhi: Chairman emeritus of Tata Sons Ltd Ratan Tata has invested data analytics company Tracxn continuing the slew of investments he has made in various startups globally.

However, the value of the investment was not disclosed.

This is Tata's second investment this year. He begain his first investment this year with pet care portal DogSpot.in.Tata, who served as the Chairman of Tata Sons for over two decades until his retirement in 2012, is also associated with some venture capital funds as advisor, including Kalaari Capital and Jungle Ventures.

His other investments include Snapdeal, Ola Cabs, Paytm, Urbanladder, Xiaomi, UrbanClap.

Founded in 2013 by Abhishek Goyal and Neha Singh, Tracxn provides information on start-ups to over 6,000 clients across India, US, Middle East, South-East Asia and Europe.

The company also runs an angel invest fund, Tracxn Labs, and an angel investment group called Tracxn Syndicate.
