London: Actress Amy Adams is set to star in and produce a film adaptation of Steve Martin`s novel ‘Object of Beauty’.
The ‘Fighter’ actress will take the leading role in the adaptation of Steve Martin`s novel, which she will produce alongside Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray, reports contactmusic.com.
The movie tells the story of 15 years in the life of the lead character as she acquires her own art gallery after working at Sotheby`s and becomes romantically involved with a series of men, one of whom goes on to be a famous artist.
Styler and Rattray, who work together at Maven Pictures, said: "We couldn`t be happier to be working with the brilliant Amy Adams on this adaptation of Steve Martin`s smart novel. This project continues on Maven`s mission of making films that highlight strong female characters and talent."
Adams who has been nominated for three Oscars, can next be seen in the leading role of Mary in ‘The Muppets’.
