Mumbai: A maverick of the Indian entertainment industry, Aamir Khan is all set to titillate audience with his new upcoming and maiden TV venture – ‘Satyamev Jayate’. Even as the actor has managed to keep everything under wraps, it has been revealed that star is planning to launch a music album around this much awaited show.
Aamir along with the music director of ‘Delhi Belly’ Ram Sampath has created roughly 16 songs for the 16 episodes that are expected to roll in the inaugural season of the show. An insider said, “The idea is to create a special number for every episode.”
As a matter of fact, it was Aamir who floated the idea of coming out with an album.
“Since all the songs are shaping up nicely, everyone is excited about the idea. Aamir and Ram are still working on a few songs. Once everything is finalised, the next step will be taken,” said the insider.
Recently, playback singer Sukhwinder Singh recorded a track — a 22-minute-long song — for Satyamev Jayate, the promos of which are on air and have already started creating a buzz.
The perfectionist Khan is putting his best foot forward for the show. “Over the past few weeks, he has been spending a lot of time at Ram’s studio. In fact, they have been spending a major part of the day together to get the right music. Aamir is looking into each and every detail,” said the insider.
