London: The Rolling Stones will perform at Glastonbury, Britain`s biggest music festival, organizers of the June 28-30 extravaganza said.
Rumours that the Stones might appear at Glastonbury have been circulating since the band`s 50th anniversary concert last November at London`s O2 Arena.
All 135,000 tickets to the 2013 festival sold out within two hours last October, despite the hefty price tag of 205 pounds ($310).
The other headliners at Glastonbury will be Mumford & Sons and Arctic Monkeys.
The O2 Arena show was the first time Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, both 69, 71-year-old Charlie Watts and Ron Wood, 65, performed together since the 2006-07 tour that took them to 32 countries.
