Washington: Jared Harris has revealed that he loved doing his fight scenes in ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ as it reminded him of his childhood.
The 40-year-old actor enjoyed fighting in scenes as the villainous Moriarty because he used to box when he was younger.
“It’s the bit that reminds me of being a kid. I went to English drama schools, and you train in stage combat, sword fighting and physical combat,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Collider.com.
“I used to box when I was younger, so I understand the weight distribution of doing all of that. Moriarty has more of a boxer’s approach. Robert Downey Jr. has his martial arts training and he has that very short, direct style of blocking and punches,” he added.
