'Jab tak Hai Jaan' premiere: Yash Chopra`s leading ladies shine; Kajol not invited

Mumbai: The entire film fraternity glittered at the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ premiere on Monday night. While many of the leading ladies of Yash Chopra’s films were seen sashaying down the red carpet, one prominent face was missing. Kajol, who featured in Adiya Chopra’s ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ was not invited to the gala premiere due to the legal tussle between her husband Ajay Devgn and Yash Raj Films. Condemning Yash Raj Films, Kajol’s sister, Tanisha retweeted a fan’s tweet, which read: “Kajol was da leading lady of DDLJ.... we condemn such shameful act decide by rani, srk, yash ji family, uday and adi(sic)” Meanwhile, Salman Khan who had been openly supporting Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son Of Sardar’ on Twitter, did turn up at the premiere of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ perhaps to support ‘good’ friend Katrina Kaif. Salman was last seen in YRF’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ opposite Katrina which made it to the Rs 100 crore club earlier this year. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news and tweeted, “Those asking, yes, all three Khans - SRK, Aamir & Salman - were under one roof for #JTHJ premiere. Premiere and post-premiere party rocked!(sic)” From Madhuri Dixit to Sridevi to Aishwarya to Rekha- all were present to watch Yash Chopra’s last film. Later many of the stars took to Twitter to shower words of praise for the film.
