New York: Michelle Obama, who hosted Harrison Ford, Chadwick Boseman for a student workshop in White House on Jackie Robinson’s biopic ’42,’ said that she and her husband Barack were physically moved by the experience of the movie.
The First Lady said that the movie was truly powerful for the couple, the New York Daily News reported.
Ford, plays Major League Baseball executive Branch Rickey in the film, was joined by Chadwick Boseman, who plays Robinson, as well as screenwriter and director Brian Helgeland at the workshop.
The baseball great’s widow, 90-year-old Rachel Robinson, also attended the event and was praised by Michelle as “a woman of strength, of courage, conviction.”
